I am about to do the bushing on the a-arms. While at it, I am planning to check the torsion bars. How does one measure/check the size of the torsion bars? From the end or at the shaft? TIA.

If you don't have a mic or calipers, use your open end metric wrenchs ie 22mm, 26mm, 27mm and slide them on the middle part of the bar

Measured it with my 22mm wrench, just a tad smaller. I think it is a 21mm front torsion bar. Looks like it's still pretty new. Must have been changed at some point. Thanks everybody.
