need new clutch...
My trans is out getting rebuilt right now and my clutch is on the edge. I don't want to buy one unless I'll be able to use it with a 3.6L swap so I don't want to buy the stock one. Should I just get my 10,000 or so miles left out of this one or buy a heavy duty one that will work with the 3.6L?
Thanks, Jeff

It doesn’t sound like the 3.6ltr swap is happening anytime soon so why not just R & R the clutch now? Inspect the pressure plate carefully, making sure none of the fingers are worn excessively or grooved. Also check the flywheel for groves or excessive wear along w/the throughout & pilot bearings. If everything else checks out just replace the “disk” & for about $200 you will not have to worry about the clutch until you’re ready for the 3.6. It will never be easier or less expensive to replace the clutch than when the trans is out.

It never hurts to have an excellent clutch, either the Sachs power clutch or the Centerforce(my choice) sold right here by Pelican will work great with a 915 stock or 915/3.6 combo.
Pelican clutches Another option is Kennedy Engineering clutches.

I guess I'll buy a stong one now then so I don't have to worry about it later.
Thanks, Jeff
