86 carrera horn button issue
Hi guys
I have the stanard steering wheel from a 86 carerra and am in a bit of a bind with the horn button. When you remove the horn button from the wheel embedded in the button are three receptacles with three springs around them. Well one of the plastic receptacles has chipped a piece off and now does not snap back on the steering wheel properly. The other two are fine but the button is a bit wobbly without the third one snapping on right. Is there anyway to fix this, are these receptacles replaceable and where would i find one if so. Thanks, any clever fixes would be really appreciated |

Maybe you can get them from Parts Heaven or one of the other dismantlers?
Otherwise, you can't spell 'clever fix' without JB weld! Chuck.H '89 TurboLookTarga, 363k miles |

Is that the parts counter sunk into the horn button or the part attached to the steering wheel, the pic isnt displaying for me. I would be looking for the part attached to the horn button rather than the wheel. Thanks

Maybe easiest if you post a pic of what's broken/what you need to replace . . .
