Low Profile Floor Jack - 2 Ton, Rapid Pump® Jack

Arcan Ultra Low-Lift Garage Jack — 2-Ton Capacity, Model# XL2T | Floor Jacks| Northern Tool + Equipment

Here are two jacks. Mine is not listed anymore but these lift to almost 24 inches.

Moral of the story is there's lots of ways to skin a cat.

Choose a method you're most comfortable with and most importantly, SAFEST! :)

Yes, there are always several ways. I did not see a two or four post lift mentioned here? My gut would tell me they would be the safest and easiest. I did like the 6x6 lumber method. I will be pulling the engine this winter and am trying to get off my back (looking at car lifts now)

Thanks
