Voltage regulator problem

I have a 71 with a 74 2.7 engine that quit charging. Alternator checked OK at rebuild shop. It is a Marshall with external voltage regulator. I bought from host Part #: 911-603-206-13-M260.

The old VR is marked. The new one is not. Old one has separate wires going to post along the top. The new one probably takes a 3 prong plug with 2 spades at top, one spade in the middle below the 2.

Will the new vr blow if I hook it up backwards? I assume bottom spade is ground. Is left spade D+/15 green wire and right spade DF/2 brown wires?

Thanks for the help!

Never mind, finally found in search.

I have been searching entire text and getting too many posts. By searching by subject line, got 5 pages and found answer. Guess an old dog can learn new tricks.
