Boges have two diff sized spindles

Just to create a quick post for future searchers because I couldnt find the answer easily. Boges have two different sized spindles depending on the year and part number. Up to 73 they have a 16mm spindle and in 74 went to a 18mm spindle. Bearings, seal and spacer are the same size but the thrust washer and the clamp nut are different parts on 16 vs 18.

I wish I had known this as i did not use my 74 struts and sourced a second pair, had them powder coated and had it all back together when I discovered the washer and end nut didnt fit, I ordered the correct parts but would have rather had the larger spindle.

Just wanted to document this for future people.
