Chain ramp install -- 72 T
(Original post in my rebuild area)
Two questions: 1) Is it OK to re-use the bolts that hold the ramps in place? 2) According to the Book of Wayne (page 138, Inboard Chain Ramps) I also need "new aluminum sealing ring(s)". Rings have a part # of 900 123 066 30. Does anyone know where I get these? Would it have been in the hardware or gasket kit I bought? The parts search spits out a 912's "Oil Distribution Block Sealing Ring". Thanks again for all the great Pelican support. Landon

The aluminum seal washer is in the seals kit, visually they are a thick shoulder with a larger hole for the 10mm threads.
Remember, the long side of the rail goes to the gear and make sure youre set square to the chains. Only one bolt has the snap retainer to locate with. With a light you can see the nipple from the bolt through the back side of the rail on both bolts. Bruce Last edited by Flat6pac; 10-29-2013 at 03:38 AM.. |
