74 US 911, new life in Norway (73 rsr backdate)

Some pictures of my 74 US 911 restored/backdated.

1974 911s for sale! LOOK HERE!!

The car has had several ovners in Norway before I got to it. It was in rather poor condition..

Stripped for paint/rust etc..

A hole winter went by getting rid of bad metal.

Transforming the body to rsr look.

Im using Fulda Carat Extremo 225/50 R15 91W on 9" fuchs.

Transporting the Yokos from central Stockholm to the Airport using only public transport was "interesting"...

Thankfully I have a very patient and understandig girlfriend..

Wow, it is great that your car has found a new home with a loving craftsman. Nice work, and nice girlfriend. I love the Gulf Blue color.

When I am not welding on rusty old german cars I work as an industrial designer, so I am really deep down a true computer nerd..

Of course I had to make my own speedo and tackometer in illustrator

And made a rough 3D model to help me choose the colour.

etc..

Don't get me wrong, this car is awesome and the fabrication is fantastic, but the best part of this thread is the GF helping you carry tires through the airport - love it!! She's a good one!
