If you are talking about the o-rings - I just use a bit of motor oil. Seems to work fine.

Vaseline is a good go-to for any seal or "O" ring assembly.

I use silicone too - I have a tube of paste I got years ago at an auto parts store. I was sold as brake mechanism lube for old school drum brakes.

I have some sil-glide I bought a long time ago. It is for brakes. Just didn't want it to slippery to seal. No pun intended. Well, maybe.

Thanks. Taking apart tonight, can't wait to see what happens. If it changes any more, it will be a twin turbo. I wish!! This thing just keeps running better and better.

Any pool supply store should carry it. Smallest tube will be a couple of bucks and last a real long time.

Old injectors are out. Should there be some back pressure when I broke the fuel line loose? On the fuel rail?

Dave, I just spray some lubricant on them and they slip in. Works for the heads or the rails. You sending them out to witchhunters for rebuild?

Witch hunter just did mine. On the invoice it recommends just clean motor oil. I missed this note and called the shop who echoed this advice and added 'dont use silicone'. Honestly we are talking about the tiniest film on an oring so im not sure how big a deal this is... But i took the mans advice and they went in without drama.

Any amount of silicone..could be just a very few molecules can kill an O2 sensor or even damage your cat. Don't use silicone sealants or lubes around your intake, exhaust flanges, etc.

Look for sealants that are labeled O2 sensor safe.
