				Ignition timing - SC cam

Does ignition timing change with different cam shafts? I have a '75 ROW CIS pistons that I have webers on and put in SC cams. What should my timing be? | ||

try total advance of 30-32 degrees. that's usually safe for pump gas. you'll need an adjustable advance timing light to set full advance. set the dial at 32 and raise the rpm until it stops advancing, and at that point, Z1 on the pulley is adjusted to the TDC mark on the fan housing by turning the distributor. do it quickly so as not to hold the engine at 5K too long. may take a few times to get it right. then whatever advance it idles at is where it idles at.
