A quick question on fuel injector clogging
This should be a quick question:
Replaced Fuel Distributor with a used unit but it turned out to be dirty and pumped out gunk and sediment. My mistake for not testing or cleaning first. Swapped back to my original FD but car started running rough. I assumed my new fuel injectors have become clogged. I swapped back to my old fuel injectors while I clean the new but now the car runs worse than ever. Is it possible that the gunk also clogged the fuel lines to the fuel injectors and would not that gunk blast thru the line but get stopped by the injector nozzle? |

I don't have a 911 but my 560SL is CIS, and I think what you have described is a very accurate assessment. It will ALL probably have to be cleaned out.
