				88 anti-theft control module issues

My alternator light is flickering. and I just had the alt rebuild... So what’s the reason the wiring from the warning light goes to the anti-theft control module before it gets to the alternator on an 86-89?

porsche did a lot of strange stuff with wiring. the AC relay is wired thru the starter solenoid. this is a big one to me. they fused the wiring AFTER switches. fuses are there to protect the wiring and there is a lot of wiring in the dash that is not protected. with our wiring getting brittle and shorting out, now the wires just melt and burn instead of a fuse blowing.

Also, having added a few electrical upgrades, I am in total agreement with T77911s. Good luck, Gerry
