einmalig

Does anyone know if einmalig.com is just a new front for "the guy who owns"** German Auto Dismemberers?

I see that two of his websites, germanautodismantlers and stuttgartclassicparts both redirect there now. And the einmalig website is running the same photos and articles about the guy.

I'm just trying to establish what the relationship is... I don't want to be suckered into dealing with somebody with such a poor reputation again.

**his name must not be spoken here.

I doubt Brian - Einmaleg- is fronting for anybody. I'll have to find out if he bought their inventory.

You think a company in california bought a junkyard inventory in toccoa georgia? Wouldn't the relocation shipping of the junkers outweigh the value of them?

I think they could be running both locations, maybe with a better business model and share some resources for cost savings, such as advertising, web site, etc...

The junkyard is still owned by the same guy who was not mentioned in the first post. It operates as epullitautoparts.com now. And the guy operates a transmission shop under the domain of cogscogs.com.

According to WHOIS, the domains I referenced in the 1st post are still owned by "that guy".

It seems that Brian is "in business" with a person who has a tainted reputation, to put it lightly.

Recently sold some parts to a fellow member here, Ben Parrish. We reminisced about the "old days" and dealing with Joe Cogbill when he had his location in the Atlanta area, and he had a good business reputation here. Always delt very fairly with me in every way. Don't know what went haywire when he moved up to Cleveland Ga, but obviously things went downhill! Anyway, Ben said he had been by Joe's place in Cleveland recently, and all the Porsche stuff was GONE! I think Ben said he had sold the complete inventory to DCautomotive in North Carolina. At least, I think it was DC, but perhaps you could ask Ben. His ID strangely enough is Ben Parrish

just for everyone's edification, einmalig who has been in the Porsche car and parts business for over 30 years, purchased stuttgartclassicparts.coms web site pictures, descriptions and product placement and phone number. We are not associated with Joe or GAPD in any way. We strive for customer service and pride ourselves in the fact we have been in business in Huntington beach, ca for the entire 30 years and have a long line of happy satisfied customers. If there is a problem we deal with it immediately to a mutual satisfying end. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact us at einmalig@einmalig.com or 7148956567

Both of the former GAPD domains are still registered with a Cleveland Georgia address and Virginia Cogbill as the contact. You might want to change that.

I've had both good and bad experiences with Einmalig, and EVERY used parts dealer will eventually let you down. Einmalig told me a tall tale about buying Porsche factory side mirrors, only for me to get a used POS that I threw in the trash.

As cashflyer has already pointed out in the original post, and as I have confirmed myself, both the German Auto Dismantlers and Stuttgart Classic Parts urls redirect to the Einmaligparts website. If Joe and his past businesses truly don't have anything to do with your company, you might want to address this.

On a side note, the Better Business Bureau finally figured out what Joe has been up to over the years and has stitched together the progression of businesses that he has sold/closed to evade his angry customers and F ratings with the BBB. They summarize things pretty nicely here, and Einmalig is part of the story...

GAD was in Georgia. Einmalig is in California. Other than buying the inventory, it would be hard to see a connection. Anyone got any insight? Thanks!

as a consumer i am sure you run into many unsavory characters, in fact i would imagine in the graphics business you meet your fair share of them. Why don't we try and act like grown ups and be adult. I am curious what is an einfluggerschitter

I still have my piece of junk side mirror that you guys sold me, which does not have working heat. It was supposed to be a "brand new" Porsche mirror. It is neither brand new, nor factory Porsche. And I specifically told you that I wanted working heat.

Now, if you want specifics, I can post a picture of said mirror that I received from you here on the forum. This was the second mirror that I got from you. The first must have been a 944 mirror, not a 911.
