1-2 weeks on Jack stands..any issue

I'm going out to start my next round of projects. Nothing major ..New disks, pads, wheel bearings and brake lines.

With three kids and a very hectic job the front end could be in the air on jack stands for 2 weeks. Is this an issue? I remember reading a while back that extended priods withthe wheels in the air could potentially hurt the suspension.

Any concern?

That's news to me. Unless you have substantial rust keeping the 911 up on jack stands won't hurt anything.

Guys:
For my car's winter hibernation, it's often on 4 jackstands for months on-end.
Added benefit...less suspension ruber bushing load in "one direction"...alows it (maybe) to re-conform back to round ! , instead of loading it up to stay egg-shaped.
---Farfetched...but it can't hurt the bushings..it may help.

Up until last week mine was on 4 jack stands for 2 weeks. I did the same exact thing you're doing, new brake lines, discs, rebuilt the calipers, pads, bearings, etc...no problem!

Garage
With the car in the air and suspension unloaded, the shock absorbers will be extended exposing their shafts to the elements. The resiidual oil and their hard chrome plating should protect them I would think. I store my car resting on it's wheels just the same.
