Need Pics for Rebuild Book: Boat-tailing, cylinder mooning, crank knife-edging...

Get your photo in the book, and also get a free copy. I'm looking for good quality digital photo examples of all three of these. Surprisingly enough, I haven't come across anyone in recent days with this stuff on hand...

Thanks in advance!

When I did the airflow mods on my 3.2 (now 3.4) I discovered that the cylinders only poked into the case 1/10 of an inch or so so half mooning them didn't make sense. I wonder if the depth changed when the case changed in '83?

Wayne,

I just had a CA shop do all of these (and more) mods to my 2.0 engine case, and cranshaft. Let me know which photos you need and format, .... I have a "hi-rez" (4.1 mpixels) Sony digital so please let me know which resolution you need or if you prefer 35MM.

I also have new (pauter rods), cosworth pistons, ... all still to be assembled thus available for pics. Let me know if I can be of any help.

FYI, my tranny is out also undegoing a fll rebuild and ratio changes.

Juan

My 3.0 case is open and partially worked. Let me know if you would like shots, I can offer 1100x700 digital or mongo 6000x4000 scans from slides (also more sane-sized scans).

How much hp can you get from the above modifications? Would any of those modifications give you any advantage on a regular 911 or just on high rpm engines?
