Recomendation for locking lug nuts for 72 911?
I see many different locking lug nuts, for example on ebay. Our host does not seem to have any in their catalog. Recommendations?
Thank you, Wade

Speaking from 20+ years experience in servicing tires and wheels, wheel locks are - at best - only a small deterrent to an experienced wheel thief, and always an inconvenience to the owner of the car. I don't use locks on any of my cars.

agreed, as my mechanic told me once -- the only person lock nuts will deter is you, the owner, when you're trying to change a flat at night in the rain . . . .

Wade,
You can find them here: Pelican Parts - Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche & BMW I prefer the earlier, keyed versions used on the 928 but those are NLA. I have a set of caps for them but I've sold the lug nuts. You may need to re-balance your wheels to use them. JR |
