Bent Window Frame

Yesterday the wife tried to move the 911 out of the garage so she could access something else, and left the driver's door open so she "could see better while backing up".

Unfortuntaely, the top corner of the window frame caught the stacked tires, and pushed the window frame forward. Nothing broken, and the glass still in one piece, but now the window frame collides with the A-pillar, and the door won't close.

I tried to gently force the frame back into position, and made some headway, but the front of the window frame still is "sprung" forward, and interferes with the metal A-pillar. Nothing seems to be bent, but the frame is definitely pushes forward from its "normal" position.

Does one have to remove all the door panelling, then unscrew the window frame(s) to get it all back to "normal"?

Help, please, with experience fixing this sort of thing!!!!!.........Andras

Yes the door panel needs to come off and you will have to take the window and frame completely out. Call Porsche salvage yards to find a replacement. NO easy fix here,
Sorry.
