Header Alternative
Since GT-Racing took over George's Euro Racing Headers (RIP George, you're one of the good ones), prices seem to have gone up quite a bit. There's other sources like Pelican for the old standby Bursch headers. But if you want mild steel headers similar to the original Porsche racing headers that George made, and from the same self-made enthusiast business, and at a price point that is hard to beat, check out MSDS Inc. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Quality tubing & bends, nice welds, flat/smooth flanges (a smart feature is the head flanges have split bolt holes to relax stress on studs), nicely fabricated collector w/shrouding. All told they're a very nice header at a nice price. Can also have them ceramic coated (pictured below) or nickel coated for a very reasonable price. A nice personal touch is the logo that you get on the headers too. Plus they're so nice, you can put them in the kitchen w/out the wife yelling at you! ![]() No affiliation to me. Just a satisfied customer who's appreciative of a nice guy like Marty who takes a lot of pride in what he does & does it well. He can fabricate some pretty wicked stuff, as evidenced by his 914-6 twin turbo flat fan sleeper/beast. ![]() ![]()
