That's refreshing to hear Craig. I'm putting together an SC now and I cleaned things up under the car when I had it apart, but I didn't go crazy media blasting, powder coating, and replating everything. Seeing all of these cars online with their shiny new parts was making me have regrets. I plan on driving it everywhere and I know it will get dirty though.

The only person I would consider is Ed Mayo in Euless, Texas 817-540-4939. He has won his class at Parade Comcoour or finished in the top three places each year for the past 4 or 5 years. What's even better is he has done it with a different car each year.

He also does the Tech quiz each year at Parade and there is a super article on one of his own cats in Excellence this month

Do you want the big trophy? Go to Bruce, Paterak or Rhode Scholars. Stepping down a notch prices will get cheaper (not by much though) and you'll have more choices.

I'm hearing about more $20,000 paint jobs all the time. If the car needs body work it quickly jumps to $100,000. Make sure you tell the shop how much money you have. They might very well decide to turn the job down. Also plan on it taking a couple of years.
