solved my hood shock problem

I found some lift lock spring loaded braces walking thru Walmart today made by Pylon. takes about 5 minutes to install and it works great. It's a plastic device that snaps on the shock and has a spring loaded lever that keeps the shock extended after opening the hood. just lift the lever when your're ready to close. works so much better than the bungie cord or stick I've had to use. about $6. now to try it on the front.
