Some pictures throughout the time I have owned my rustbucket.
If somebody wants to see, here are some pictures I have taken of my car during my time of ownership.
Pictures are in no order whatsoever. Thanks for watching ![]() www.koti.reimari.net/shakal/jotain PS: When the car was blue, I mainly was repairing and removing all the $hit from the car that the PO had put there... Now, being red, all the stupid things have been undone.

Very nice transition. It's great to see one come back from the brink to a really pretty car.
Great job, Mark |

Well it was in "driveable" condition in fall 2001, but I am still doing things to it. I still have to get C2 (964) style front bumper to it. I am not doing a full restoration to it, after all it would have to have pre -74 fenders and such. I just want it look like a normal Porsche.
Yesterday (when I installed my rebuilt alternator) I wondered (again) that I must have had huge luck on my way back to Finland with the car (from Munchen, Germany, 2000km trip) The major faults that I have so far found were: 1st: Fuel system full of crud (If I pressed gas when cruising more than 50mph the car died in about 1 mile), and leaking directly on top of the exhaust (noticed this when I got home) 2nd: Semi working CDI box, failed when I got home 3rd: Piston pin was missing a spline on one cylinder and had made 2 marks on cylinder (2mm deep) -> Could have blown the engine on the way. Now rebuilt. 4th: Alternator light was constantly illuminating -> Did not charge the battery properly. (I have gone through all of the electronic system on the car) 5th: The seatbelts were pretty good racing harnesses...but they were attached to cardboard rearshelf! If I had driven an accident and maybe survived the car to car crash, the seatbelt "roll-in" part would have killed me by hitting me on back of my head. I have to say, that little I knew about cars back in spring 2001. I think the most fresh picture of those is this: http://www.koti.reimari.net/shakal/jotain/imagepages/image36.htm
