source for POR
There are a couple of spots that I want to get sealed up since the completed body work. I understand that POR is what I need to do the job. But where do you get it? Is it a commonly available or do I need to go to a body shop supply source?

Good stuff. Try the starter kit, it includes everything except a spray bottle for smaller jobs. |

I have found that POR 15 dries much faster on wet humid days. I know this sounds weird but it must be due to some chemical reaction.

I had a few spots and ordered the "trunk/floor" kit for $120. 3 nights ago I sprayed the "cleaner" on there and let it soak per the instructions. The next morning (6:30 AM...i was excited) before work I did the first coat "silver". After work I started messing with the putty they include...this stufff is unreal! I applied it to the spots I wanted, then more and more and more til I had expended half the bars that it came with. Within one hour it was dry and I applied the second coat "black". Yesterday morning I came out to decide if I should take car to work (dry?, etc) the stuff was like steel! Seriously! So then I got excited and took screwdriver and tried to poke the putty part...didn't even make a scratch! I really was jamming it (stupid i know) and nothing would hurt it. This stuff is great! From what i understand i have to put the final "chassis black" coat on or it turns purple but i really don't care right now. Tom email me privately, don't buy the whole kit i will tell you what to get... (don't need cleaner, fiberglass, etc).

So which cars sells first ?
A car that advertises it has had some Bondo applied in a few locations ? or A car that advertises Por 15 applied ? And don't take me wrong on this as I love Por 15 products. Don

Well, hopefully the $$$$$ paint job I just got where they used POR on every seam as a preventative will get a better review than the bondo car.
