Body Plugs?
Finally, after a long wait, I got the Strosek rockers removed by a local restoration shop this week. There was some welding involved due to a cut-out for the Strosek brake duct. I am very happy with the results. The shop did a great job.
I had the shop leave the rocker mounting holes along the bottom just in case I wanted to put the original rocker panels back on, but I like it without them at the moment. Can anyone tell me what they used to plug the rocker mounting holes with? Screws? Plugs (which ones)? Should I put the torsion bar hole covers on or leave them off? Before: ![]() After: ![]()

I would definitely plug the holes. They were not meant to be open. Lots of options. Plugs are available in lots of sizes. If holes are small you could use some rubber like product and dab it over the holes and it would be easily removable. Or use screws.
I would cover the torsion bar access holes. Smoother look for a nice looking car. Also, I don't think that the covers noted above by part number will work for your application.

They don't make plugs for those holes. The rocker panels are held on with screws, so those are what "plug" the holes. Not sure how that would look to just have the screws installed....

Thanks for the responses.
I was hoping someone had found some body plugs that worked and looked good and could direct me to where they got them. I already tried the screws, doesn't look very good.
