Exclamation Can I use higher compression Pistons & Cylinders on my 2.0?

Hi Guys,

Got a question for you. The engine on my 1965 911 (no bloody T E or S) with a 130hp 2.0 is in desparate need of rebuilding. I managed to find a good set of pistons and cylinders (with rings) from a 2.0 911E. The pistons from the E are the same bore and stroke as the original pistons on my car, BUT has a slightly higher compression ratio. Anyone know if these will work on my car? The price is right, I just need to know if it will work. Thanks.

Paul
