cotter pins - need a selection, but not 100s

Where can I get a nice selection of cotter pins? Pelican sells a variety pack, but about 100 each for almost $100 total. I don't need near that many, like 1/5 as many (I think).

Thanks

My local hardware store sells them, if you are near a body of water, mosts marine hardware stores carry them. When all else fails theres McMaster, looks like they sell packs of 10

McMaster-Carr

and some nice variety packs in various sizes

They can bite the big one on some products. Bought sawz-all blades and hose clamps in volume packs and they were pathetic.

McMaster Carr is upscale.

McMaster-Carr

If you have an Ace Hardware near you, they should be able to fix you. I do this all the time for small bits and pieces. Also, for me anyway, Fastenal and Tacoma Screw can also help me out.

Try Home Depot or Lowes. I got a nice variety of sizes in a hard plastic box a few years ago. Was about 5-8 bucks or something like that.

Found packets at Menards, spring steel I think. First salesperson (middle aged male) did not know what a cotter pin was though.
