Bodmin,

That looks absolutely fantastic! Give yourself a big pat on the back for a job very well done.

You haven't worked on cars for years right? But you must have been trained in Stuttgart in a previous life?:D

I have an engine and gearbox rebuild 'pencilled' in for the future but I do not want to attempt it until I have everything required in place and ready to go. Your nice photos are an indication of the hardware that's now on my list.

Hi - muffler (or silencer as we call it this side of the pond!) is a Dansk.

Hi Jason - nothing like having the right tools for the job. I even bought the crankshaft seal installation tool which I did use. Also have the camshaft holding tool, Stromski liner hold down sleeves, and several others which I may use one day.

The scissor lift is worth its weight in gold (slight exaggeration as it weighs a ton), and I would highly recommend the hydraulic lifting table, The lifting table has saved my back for several jobs around the house including installing a built in oven.
