"Hot Rod" cabs?

Now that I've added headers, M&K muffler w/GT3 outlets and a DAS roll bar to my 88 cab, I'm considering modifying further to give it a full "Hotrod look... maybe rally headlights, aluminum pedals,...what else,...seats...? I would love to see other hotrod cabs to get some more ideas?

Father in law is building one and is almost done. 83 cab with an early 90s turbo engine. I'll see if I can get him interested in posting his build.

I think my next project will be a hotrod G series cab. Nothing too crazy: cool seats with tartan or houndstooth, lowered, no wing, period 80's wheels like bbs or Ronal, maybe early front valence without fogs, rear over rider delete. Just clean it up a little for a fun driver, and without requiring too much heavy lifting.

And maybe a copy of the factory cab roll bar if I got carried away.

Wow, those are all some cool looking cabs. I like the aluminum pedals and front end treatments...keep 'em coming...

It belonged to a local guy in the Seattle area. His name was Pie (Piedogger on Pelican). The Ruf parts on his car were authentic Ruf pieces.

My understanding is that Pie passed about five years ago. He sold the car prior to passing, but I don't know where it went.

Wow, that was an unexpectedly sad story. It's an exceptionally unique car with the color and of course parts selection.
