Thanks Englebert. Your car looks like a great project. It doesn’t happen to be a 912 convert does it? I sold something that looked almost identical a couple of years ago.

Got it. It is possible to get very close in the garage with the string method if you're up for the challenge...
Beautiful car... |

Thanks Jeff and Fanaudical! I am tempted to try a home alignment sometime.

Do your own alignment!! It ain't hard. The hardest part is finding a flat floor. If you have that, the rest is easy.

Frunk now complete. Since I moved my battery to the smugglers box I used that space for a small tool bag for fix-a-flat and a bottle jack (in case using the ancient spare was unavoidable).

Help me answer a question I get all the time - why do you have more than one 911 - what do you plan to do with this one or that one?

That question kind of makes me laugh. People assume this is a rational passion?? It's a hobby and the project phase is entertaining so I like to always have one underway. As for uses, the red car is a track car but still street legal. The other two 911's are projects for street rods. The Moto Guzzi in the foreground and the MGA in the background are completed projects. So I suppose having multiples like this also gives us and our community something to talk about, debate, research and argue over, etc! Good fun!

When people ask, tell them about prophecies and revelations. They won't ask you again!
