911 SC Oxygen Sensor Systems.

Need advice -- have a well rebuilt 1980 SC engine installed in a 1978 SC, which has been successful on track. Want to return to street use, so need functioning oxy . sensor system to pass smog. 1980 was first model with the lambda system, which is a little different from following 1981 - 1983 models. Thus, 1980 parts are difficult to find. Have O2 sensor and cat, throttle valve, and frequency valve. Can buy 15 degree temp switch. Need in engine and in car harnesses, oxygen sensor control unit with attached relay. Will the readily available 1981 - 1983 model's missing parts work on this engine to pass smog test, leaving their additional harness connections disconnected (includes; cold accel. control unit, 35 degree temp switch, 15 degree throttle angle microswitch)?
