Both my upper and lower window stops appear to be missing?? Anyone ever replaced these things before. I am not even 100% sure they are gone. Any tips on where they should be and if they are gone how to re-install new ones?

upper window stop is top of window frame. Lower stop stops regulator from lowering window to far and regulator from going down to far and is shock absorber

I'm sure there was a question about this not too long ago. The top stop is part of the regulator and is adjustable. The lower stop
is also part of the regulator. The rubber piece at the top of the window frame (only on Targas) is not a stop, it's main job is to make a clean transition for the roof seal. Adjust the top stop to achieve a good fit to the roof seal. You may have to adjust the glass and frame to attain this. |
