Hi Guys and Girls,
To divert my attention from the horrible events of the day I decided to install heater ducting engine sheetmetal from an older 911 onto my 82SC. I am doing this in order gain underhood clearance for engine maintenance and my blower fan died. My problem is this, when I went to install the right side duct I noticed that my oil pressure sender interferes with the duct. Can I move this to a horozontal position which seems logical or do I have to move it. By the way I have the pressure fed chain tensioners but that doesn't seem like it will interfere at all. Thanks, Seth |

Can you put a brass elbow on it to turn the sending unit?

Kevin,
It appears that I can just turn the fitting that the oil pressure sender sits on. I just don't know if the sender is designed to work in the vertical position. Thanks, Seth |
