1988 911 Carrera Special Edition.

Engine idle airflow.

Lift heat lever ever so slightly.

Footwell blower "boost"

Engine idling

"derated" (***) factory squirrel cage blower.


I remembered that the blower in my 1978 was "derated", squirrel cage blower wheel displaced to allow engine fan forced airflow bypass.
Same here....Makes one wonder if that 163 FPM airflow rate might go over 200FPM with a "proper/standard" blower design.
