H1 trim ring/ adjustments screws?
One of the long trim ring/ adjustment screws on one of my H1 is bent and needs replacement. How do you remove them from the trim ring?

It is held on by a thin nut, hold with pliers and remove it.
Post a pic to insure it is not supposed to be that way.

The screw has a metal "bead type" device crimped to it. Contact Jaudette3 on the forum. He rebuilds H1/H4 headlights and could help you with a new screw. He also has a solution that he uses to replace the "crimped on" piece for the rebuilds he does. He's a very helpful guy!

That's right a bead type, but it is threaded too. So you can hold it with the pliers to remove the screw.

If you can straiten the screw shaft, perhaps check your local hardware store for a Nylock
type nut to fit the screw as you will most likely ruin the crimped part while removing it.
