Post Fixes to Carrera

You may know from previous posts, I was really concerned about my heavy steering. I took the car in for some work and asked them to drop the front suspension to 24.5 and corner balance. Man..the difference...steering is much more comfortable and it sits much tighter in corners.

Also I was having trouble with a noise coming from drivetrain at accel and decel and some noticable vibration. Initially the mechanic thought it was the flywheel coming adrift from the crankshaft. Thanks to the wonderful people on this board, I challenged his boss on this issue. The boss races three 911 and supports the running of several others in Asia. Anyhow, he also agreed this didn't sound right. Well some dollars later I had a new clutch and its real sweet to drive now. Smooth and effortless changing. I'm considering letting the wife drive now!!

Anyhow - thankyou to all those of you who either posted replies of emailed directly re the above two points.

Cheers
Mark
