That's only about a 1100 month average John. Just think, I have read most of them and I joined in 2013 so guess who really needs a life. However, I would probably say that everyone on that reads your threads enjoys them and gains knowledge each time they read them.

There, that little bit of sucking up might save me a few bucks on my oil change next time I bring my car in to your shop for an oil change.

We appreciate your posts John. Plus the pics of your workshop and the neighbourhood, even if you spend half the day on the internet talking to people who don't actually exist, you've got a great life going on. Now get back to some billing type work

Lets see, between me and several other locals, that equates to about .$10 cents a post that we've donated to your shop hoonery, errrr, labor.

We pay for the good smelling brake cleaner, not that cheap O'Rileys crap.

keep up the great passion. it shows.

I would think you'd be pulling wrenches all day rather than punching keys. At least you're a legitimate Porsche mechanic who makes a living from his passion unlike a few posers who punch keys and claim to be world-class Porsche mechanics and enthusiasts. Your are one of the best in my book.

John, the PNW scalawags and I sincerely thank you for your years of mis-direction, seemingly great bargains, total lack of humor, and lack luster expertise <- which are all bald face lies. Looking forward to the next 14,000 and thanks for saving my bacon on numerous occasions.

To your credit, those are 14000 posts in the Technical forum. I think some post that much every week in PARF. Nothing wrong with your priorities.

Thanks, John! I'm sure I'll have quite a few more questions. Car's on it's side in a rotisserie and my engine is in bits in my game room. It's folks like you on this board that allow me to even dream tackling a job like this.

Thanks John. I finally dropped the engine in my SC so I'm hoping to prod you along with a few more.

Joined about the same time as you John. Many dozens of those posts were back and forth with you about my 1973.5T from that infamous "green" wire coming off the distributor to the R&R of the window felt. I regret that your shop is not here in Atlanta, GA, but I am indebted to your skill, knowlege and calming advise when it comes to these old German work horses!!

Lets see another 14K.

Heres to one of Pelicans finest.
