smoking problem help

I have a 911 SC (Euro car) that has started smoking after about 84,000 miles (original engine) It doesn't start smoking until the car has run for about 45 minutes and on hot days. Then the exhaust looks like a mosquito smoker machine.

Any ideas what could be causing this or someone who might? I am hoping to not have to pull the engine.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide

Dallas Fridley

Is there oil in your airbox?

Are your spark plugs fouled with oil?

Is there any smoke coming out from under the fender wells when the car is fully warmed up and sitting still, idling, after the car has begun to smoke? Is any smoke coming off the heat exchangers?

Is oil consumption/loss noticeable on the dipstick level?

Have you checked all 12 of the lower cylinder head studs for breakage?

I have not run the car in about a year. All the smoke was coming from the tail pipe as I remember. Nothing on the heat exchangers and I am now just getting at the spark plugs. I will let you know when I get them out.

Thanks

Dallas
