polishing fuchs
Does anyone know of a way to remove the coating on my wheels . I am trying to polish them and the coating is so hard to remove. Thought maybe you fellow would know of a easier way to remove the coating

If your coating is the factory anodizing, or that is what is underneath of additional paint maybe this will work for you:

+1 on that. But be warned, there is no easy way to do it. Enjoy!
I used scotchbrite balls on the wheels and then worked my way up the scale of grits until I was ready to buff the wheels. FWIW, it took me about 2 or 3 days to polish and paint my wheels. Painful but well worth the effort. |
