Wireing question
I have an 83SC Cabriolet with newer 8 way ? seats........of course they don't work.......Three wires come from seat block. Yellow with black stripe, brown, red with black stripe. Any one with an Id of wire, Positive, ground and what ever third wire is. Thanks in advance John

Brown is ground, red w/ black stripe is positive, still don't know what third wire is for..........

just a shot in the dark but is the yellow live? it could be a jumper line from one seat to the other.

I would think yellow and red with black stripe, both would be 12v. One to power the motor to move the seat forward, and the other to reverse the motor and move the seat backward. Plain brown is always a ground. Similar to how the power windows are wired.
