930 stone guard replacement tips

I've been detailing the crap out of my 930 and now the stone guards look a little scuzzy so I bought new ones and would like to replace them. Any tips for that process, specifically removing the old ones? The car has original paint so I'd obviously like to leave that undisturbed.

Thanks much

I removed mine using a hair blower/dryer to soften up the glue and slowly peeled it off. Cleaned the area off and put on new ones (magnetic stone guards). If you wish to put non-magnetic stone guards, I suggest you spray the area with water or mix water with little soap and apply the new stone guards and adjust it while it is still wet and gently squeeze out air and water underneath.

I have this same question. the weak part of my car is one shark fin. does the rubber on the rocker panel need to be removed too as the shark fin appears to be tucked under it. please advise.
