Pelican’s parts at work on the weekend. I went to the Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing (RMVR) event at Second Creek Raceways (SCR) for their final event at SCR. There were 139 entrants including about 18 Porsches – all Pelicans. These were all prepped track vintage racers. Of course the paddock parking was full of hangers’ on. There was the beautiful Colorado weather; 50F when the sun was coming up and glistening on the fresh snow above 10,000’ on the high Rockies. Kobalt Blau sky all day - not a cloud to be seen.
