How The Heck Do I Install These 6 Points Harnesses?
Harness install - yes I've read the instructions, all the mounting points are pretty straightforward except for one, which is very confusing....
The submarine belt. I understand the sub belt on my Scroth 6 pointers need to be mounted through the center hole of seat, +/-20 degrees to an eye bolt with some sort of reinforced plate welded onto the floor. I have two issues with that: 1. What the heck does that actually look like? I've searched and searched but cant find a 911SC specific photo. I would be interested in exactly how this is done. 2. My drivers seat is adjustable forward and back. How do I work the drivers position into that +/- 20 degree equation? Thanks! |

You don't need to weld anything, just drill two holes in the floor a few inches apart (ie on either side of fore-aft centerline) and position as directed. Use big 2-3" washer under bolts. Place the seat so the 20° is right for you in your driving position. Everyone else will have to live with that.

Hmm seems simple enough. I have Corbeau sliders, maybe my fab guy can build something like the GT3 setup.
Thanks guys. |
