Head Light Relay kit on hold
Just about to do this quick little upgrade when I see these three extra little red jumper wires in my 82 SC's fuse box. I'll have to figure out what the PO has done here....any body have any ideas what he may have been trying to accomplish here? Everything works other than headlight washers and fog lights....two things I never cared enough about to really dig into.

Extra red wires
The extra wires appear to be home made jumpers for the headlight fuses. Fuses number 1 and 2 are for the high beams and the original fuses 3 and 4 were for the low beams. Fuse holder # 3 appears to have gone bad so the PO wired fuses 4 and 5 for the low beams. It is not unusual for the brass jumper on the back of the fuse panel to get loose or have corroded connections making them not work properly. The only way to really straighten this out is to replace the fuse block. Also, has an aftermarket headlight relay kit been added to the car? That might explain some of the changes. Good luck!

Are the brass jumpers available to buy? I looked here on Pelican but couldn't find them.

The jumpers as described are not a separate item. They are built into the fuse panel on the back and held in place with rivets as in this picture of the back of a 3 fuse panel shows.

I have a few that just connect screw to screw up front....they're slotted and just slip on the screws then tighten down.... You can see a few on 86 911 Targas fuse panel on the left.
