Welcome to the board. I am with you on the mods. My car is no where near were it was when I purchased it.

As an aside, and excuss me if you already know this, I notice your oil level guage is awefully high, especially with the motor running at what about 2000rpms. You don't want to overfill these cars. Alweays rely on the dip stick and not on the guage. The oil is checked warm with the car at idle, and should 1/2 way between full and add.

Beautiful car!

Thanks, Dr. Paul. This is my first 911 so I am just learning the subtleties of this thing. You mentioned that it is "not good" to run these cars with too much oil, can someone tell me why? What is likely to happen?

Thanks in advance.

Hey TT! Beautiful car! The only thing I would change is the steering wheel. Pelican has a sale on the 930S wheel that would look FANTASTIC in your car!

Welcome Tex,

The next DE is mid-November. You should take it out like it is so after you modify it, you will feel the difference. I would love to go for a ride in an 80 930 to feel the difference between it and an SC and to learn about boost pressure and all that jazz.

Link to info on DE

Hello Texas Turbo,
And welcome from another PP Austinite!! Fine looking auto you have there, bet the color really helps with the stealth (not!) right?

Just kidding, The guards red is definitely a great color on a Turbo..

Moses: I looking at that wheel, I think I will join that group buy as soon as the details are posted.

RR: I can't make the mid-November DE but hope to get to TWS in late Nov or sometime in December.

Silverc4s: Thanks for the compliment. My wife laughs at me when I try to get in the "slow lane" when my radar detector goes off. You definitley cannot hide with this car.
