That's the great thing about these cars. You don't have to do anything different to take them to the track. I use Mobil 1 15-50 for street and track. But you can use any oil that has adequate ZDDP in it.

Oh my, this is a very touchy subject, please don't go there.
Use what you want and change the oil afterwards. You should also consider changing the gear lube aftetwards, again please don't ask which one, just a search and read the debate. Make sure everything is secure before you go and afterwards, especially the lugs. Have fun and be safe. Jim

I agree with Jim, you're much better off just doing a search. Once you start reading the various posts you'll understand why. What I use is irrelevant but I do change my car's oil after a track weekend, mostly so it is one less thing I have to do before the next DE event.
Glad you got the muffler okay. the guy at the UPS store gave me the hardest time about it.

After reading the various motor oil threads here, I decided to use 15W-60 whale blubber oil, imported from Japan. I swear by it.

An old engine (not a recent rebuild) may develop an oil leak when switching to synthetic. Many years ago, I did the switch to synthetic and a previously dry engine started to leak. It was expensive to repair.
