I use Yahoo mail to read my home email account. Easy to configure, and free.

Most email providers provide a form of web mail access. I have three different email accounts that are spread across two machines. I use web mail access when I travel or are using one of the machines that I don't want to configure a client to access.

Tom's solution is another good way to do this - before one of my providers offered web mail, I configured the account to deliver a copy to a Yahoo! mail account so I could get it at work or on the road.

Edit: I assume you have more than Pelican email traffic that you might want to check whilst at work - so it seems to me having a web client to read your personal email account will serve you on multiple fronts. Just thinking out loud...

I supplied this information in another recent thread, here it is again...

Use MailWasher for all your e-mail needs, you can configure several accounts and eliminate the junk at the same time.

If your ISP doesn't provide a web interface for your email check out Mail2Web It's a free service that lets you check any POP3 or IMAP4 account from the web. They're even a sponsor of the Racer's Group ALMS team.

No affilliation, blah, blah.
