Before I go all aggro on this, anyone have experience....
...in removing this particular Momo shift knob? I am fearing epoxy, but hoping for hidden screw or something. Thanks as always.

It should just unscrew off the G50.

unscrew the lower ring and you'll see allen set screws.

Try unscrewing the bezel at the base, then look for several set screws.

I have this exact same knob, thought it was press-fit and ended up hammering it off...
Now I know. Oh well, at least I won't make the same mistake with Dave's 917 knob that's currently in the mail. |

You going back to the stock knob? I have that exact Momo knob and have considered changing it, but haven't pulled the trigger.

If I had that knob on my shaft, I'd go 917 for sure.

Either going back to stock or considering this one.

Where did you source that knob? I like the black one.

So was this the G50 car or the 915 car? Dope! The replacement knob tells me.

Vendor in Wales (I think). Trying to get clarity on how it attaches. Hoping it is set screws.

Not available in black but the Vosstek knob is nice and the extra length allows one to raise the knob up a bit. -J

This is the website for the UK manufacturer; Richbrook. Took me a while to figure it out as most website go to great pains to obscure the brand name. And it is attached by 3 "grub" screws which I have come to learn, are what we call set screws here in the US. 40 UK pounds shipped to me in NC. Richbrook arrived in NC from the UK in 5 days. Here it is in the '87 G50 coupe. Sorry, for the slight blur.
