89 Fried Wire Help
I managed to fry this connector on my 89 911. The connector is located in trunk on drivers side below the fuse panel. It's mounted by a screw into a white plastic plate. The black wire went to radio, interior lights & clock. Any idea what the other wires connected to? Here is a picture of the connector..
Thanks Carl ![]() |

Oh my, one example of a wrong spec FUSE.
![]() You need to do some surgery and replace that wire and insure the fuse is the correct spec.

Wiring.
Although the wiring color codes do not match our '86 color codes,
this connector may be associated with the intensive cleaning fluid, or the headlight cleaner control unit. Good luck, Gerry ![]() ![]()
