What is it- HELP?

I found this on the A/C evaporator blower motor- stuck by the magnetic field. Anyone know where it's from? I have an 85 911 Carrera.

Thanks.

It's one of the clips from hell that hold the top of the evap cover/fan housing to the bottom half of the housing.

I don't think so. There are 4 clips that hold the top and bottom housing together and I have those. This clip doesn't fit the plastic nubs on the housings.

It may be a weight to balance the squirrel cage.
Is it the right size to clip on to one of the vanes?

The squirrel cage weights are much smaller.
