Need help fast! What kind of engine is this?

Engine # M6421

Serial # 63V03742

It is supposed to be a 1997 Euro 993 Varioram. How can I tell from the numbers?

Also, what else can I find out from the numbers? Can it be linked to a VIN#?

Time is a critical factor. If you can be of any help, I will be grateful. Thanks!

Moses

Hey Tom,
How do you get that to be an image that can be posted?

"Alt+Print Scrn" captures the active window, paste into Paint Shop Pro, crop and resize to get it modem friendly, save as a .jpg.

Try it with holding down the lil' "windows" key(right next to alt, on the left) & then "print screen"
Should do it on xp, under most conditions. If not, there's a popular little shareware type progam called "hypersnap."

Yes, it does work in XP. I neglected to open my graphics program and paste the image into it. Thanks!! I love it when I can learn a new trick!
