Laser Jammer advice?

So I got my first ticket in 4 years on Friday, by an officer shooting laser from way back on an on ramp...absolutely no way you could see him.
Any advice on where to mount three jammers on a 911sc with fiberglass rear bumper?
Also, any advice on what the best system at the moment is? I have laser interceptor on my truck and has worked flawlessly(+ Valentine 1 are the only reason for my spotless record)...but I'm not convinced they are still #1

I'm hesitant to go cutting into anything, if I can help it...but the old girl is going to get me in trouble if I don't add some countermeasures.

Good question..
I wish there were something to thwart those pesky speed cameras as well. Where I live and drive they've gone from safety device to control speed alter behavior by flashing when they photograph, to nothing but a revenue generator as they are now mobile, and don't flash.

And they can still use vascar.

VASCAR - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They will never be a vascar jammer.

I have yet to ever see vascar used in my area....I just look for the painted lines they use for aerial.
Im leaning towards antilaser priority over laser interceptor...only because there is one gun in service in CT that LI cant beat...Pretty sure they work for speed cameras too, if they are the mobile version..nothing can beat the road sensor ones.

Better yet use this device to tell where the cops are, all of them.

Crap, no firmware for the US yet that I can tell.

Fellas, laser/radar/vascar are obsolete.

I have been using WAZE mapping ap on my smart phone it has saved my arse many times with warnings of speed traps and police ahead. It also warns of road hazards and real time accidents.

I have absolutely no affiliation with the ap.

Basically it is member driven and is surprisingly accurate. Bonus it re-routes you to a less traffic route. I was quite pleased with this feature. In fact google maps piggy backs off of their system to report traffic conditions.

So until police figure out what is going on this will beat any jammer or radar detector.

Down side you must contribute to help make the reporting more accurate. It takes majority reporting from an average of members in the immediate area and displays the report. The other thing is, if you are in a remote area and the only Wazer, you are on your own then you will need a radar detector or drive within speed limits.

I purchased the SmartNav 5 from App-tronics App-Tronics, Smart Nav 5. The system comes with laser diffusers, which makes it so the laser from the police does not register. I bought a second set of diffusers for the rear, but have not installed the system as of yet because I am in the middle of a build. I think you can buy just the laser diffusers.

I also will be buying a license plate photo blocker when they are available first of the year. This unit flashes a high intensity led light at the license plate blocking out some of the letters/numbers. There is a sensor that sees the flash form the camera and sets off the led lights. noLimits Enterprises

Radar Roy's OFFICIAL Radar Detector Review site!

That's the best info out there today. I use the Escort Redline & WAZE App.

I have an escort 9500ci in my 997, installed by the PO. Laser detector/jammers are in the center radiator well (2) and above the back license plate. Jammers are illegal in California, so mine are configured to detect only.

LEOs here (in San Diego) are mostly still using Radar. When I get a laser hit it is usually from the collision avoidance/cruise control system fitted to newer cars.

I use both WAZE and an Escort detector. WAZE is great on major highways, not so terrific on lightly travelled back roads. The GPS does burn battery life on my cell phone rather quickly though.

+1 on WAZE paired with a V1 on well traveled roads. The more people using WAZE the safer all of us will be

Truth....
If you want to defeat Laser speed devices....you need a computer that operates in less than a millionth of a second!
You need to detect the beam...anilyse it...then send out the correct encoded beam back to the gun to tell it you are not speeding.
This might be possicle with a Quantum computer (fastest one I know of)...but other than that...if the beam hits you and bounces back to the gun...you're caught!
Any basiclly relective vertical surface will bounce the beam...the beam is very small in cross section...so...even something the size of a dime will do the trick.
If anyone comes up with a better way to defeat Lasers...be sure to patent the device and sell it to the government...you will be set for life.

What does rather quickly mean? I can barely get through the day on a charge with my iPhone 5s as it is not using any GPS.

On my iPhone 4, running WAZE will completely drain the battery in about 1.5 hours.

So, when using it, I keep the phone on a charger. Bad things about WAZE is it is hard to hear the alerts if you have the radio on, you need a passenger to input hazards. GPS is great.

North Augusta and Georgia Regents University cops now set up daily speed traps using Chargers, Tahoes, and lasers. I have had to change my daily route to avoid the laser Nazis, as the laser alert on the escort 9500i is loud enough to give you heart attack.

I thought the collision avoidance/cruise control systems used K band radar. That's the alarms I get all the time on the Interstate now.

I turned off k and x band. Now I have a Radar detector that works in L.A.

Wrong... I wasn't a believer until I saw a LEO shaking his gun because he thought it was broken...Problem is there is now a new gun, thats 3x expensive...but I live in CT so we have a couple in the state...so urban legend states
